The lens is designed for full-frame but is also compatible with smaller camera formats such as APS-C and Micro Four Thirds.<\/p>\n<p>Optical structure<br \/>\nThe lens body is made of durable metal, and the focusing ring is wide and soft to use. The lens internals feature 12 lens elements in 8 groups, including 2 aspherical elements (APS) and 3 Extra Low Dispersion (ED) elements to ensure high resolution and prevent chromatic aberration.<\/p>\n<p>The Nano Coating System (NCS) coating with nanocrystals optimises light transmission and reduces reflections and ghosting better than a conventional coating.
