The six-element, fully multi-coated optical system is specifically designed for planetary observation and produces a bright, sharp image. Turning it one way extends the visor, whilst turning it the other way makes it flat, which suits most spectacle wearers. The visor also blocks side light, thereby improving contrast.<\/p>\n<h4>Change the eyepiece without refocusing<\/h4>\n<p>The seven eyepieces in the X-Cel LX series are parfocal, so within the series, you can change eyepieces during an observing session without having to refocus, or with only a slight adjustment.
