The free Celestron app\u2019s planetarium view displays the sky in real time or lists the objects currently visible based on your location and the time of day. The app\u2019s built-in SkyAlign alignment feature gets the device ready for observation in a matter of minutes, and you can point it at a target with a single tap.<\/p>\n<h4>Battery life and ergonomics for long observation shifts<\/h4>\n<p>The built-in lithium-ion battery provides power for up to 10 hours of continuous use without a separate power source. The USB charging port can also be used to charge a mobile phone or tablet. The carrying handles make it easy to set up, the markings on the steel tripod legs help you adjust the height to ensure it is level, and the manual switches allow you to adjust the angle by hand and switch the power off.<\/p>\n<h4>A guide to astrophotography<\/h4>\n<p>The fork mount\u2019s worm gear mechanisms and improved motors reduce play and improve tracking accuracy. Deep-sky objects, such as the Orion Nebula, can be photographed by attaching a system camera directly to the telescope.
