The computerised GoTo function automatically tracks objects as they move across the night sky, and with the help of the NexStar+ hand controller\u2019s menus, you\u2019ll be able to operate the mount with ease after just a few nights of observing. SkyAlign and All-Star Polar Alignment make alignment easier, whilst the permanently programmable periodic error correction (PPEC) improves tracking accuracy during long exposures.<\/p>\n<h4>Can be expanded for photography use<\/h4>\n<p>The mount features ports for a hand controller and automatic control, as well as two AUX ports for accessories. A payload of approximately 14 kg is sufficient not only for the tube but also, for example, for StarSense AutoAlign, a focus motor, a viewfinder and a camera. The dual rail is compatible with both CG-5 and CGE-type tail pieces, and switching between them is done by moving the hand knobs to different holes.<\/p>\n<h4>Software for planning observations and remote access<\/h4>\n<p>The included Celestron PWI (CPWI) has been developed in collaboration with PlaneWave Instruments. Its planetarium user interface and PointXP mount modelling enable an alignment model with over 100 points; the alignment can be saved and reloaded, and the telescope can be parked.
