The front camera, which mounts to the windscreen, records Full HD video. The waterproof rear camera is mounted on the vehicle\u2019s chassis and comes with a 20-metre cable. It is waterproof and attaches to the vehicle\u2019s chassis. The long 20-metre cable extends from the front to the rear, even on long vehicles.<\/p>\n<h4>Control via mobile phone<\/h4>\n<p>Built-in Wi-Fi connects the camera to the Blackvue app. With the app, you can view a live feed and adjust settings such as bitrate, LED lights, audio recording and recording settings. Video playback requires a device that supports the H.264 codec.<\/p>\n<h4>Three storage modes<\/h4>\n<p>In normal mode, the camera records continuously and overwrites the oldest files. In event mode, the G-sensor triggers recording \u2013 for example, in the event of a rear-end collision \u2013 and saves the video to a separate folder, covering 5 seconds before the event and 55 seconds afterwards.
