BirdDog Eyes P400 4K 10-Bit Full NDI PTZ Camera HDMI/6G-SDI(Bl) is clearly SkyNet another step to conquer... the video market, as it were, the T-1000. Especially the tracking features make this a very good tool for streaming, especially for sporting events. With a proper controller, this will almost always work in solo streaming situations.

The BirdDog Eyes P400 4K Full NDI PTZ camera combines BirdDog's NDI silicone chip, 20X optical zoom and Sony backlit sensor with a stunning black body, making the event videographer's job easier. Unlike other NDI types like the NDI|HX which is well compressed up to 12Mb/s, the P200 features a visually lossless iFrame codec that delivers a 140Mb/s bitstream at best. The P400 provides native 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 with compatible receivers.

Simultaneous live SDI, HDMI and full NDI output makes the camera a truly comprehensive solution. In addition to these interfaces, you can control the P400 via NDI or with integrated RS-422 or RS-232 serial control. With the separately available BirdDog PTZ Keyboard you can also use any of these control methods. The unit is powered either by PoE or the included power supply.

The included BirdDog Comms Lite voice intercom software is able to take advantage of the push to talk feature of the controller, and many other features such as automatic NDI source detection etc.

The maximum aperture is f/2 and the optical zoom is 20X, with a further 12X digital zoom (30X super resolution zoom). If you drive the camera 1080 out, you get a digital zoom of 40X (super resolution zoom in HD).

The IR filter moves in and out of the front of the sensor as needed, so when shooting in the dark the images are sharp and bright even in the dark.
