Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM

The Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM is the closest fixed focal length to the 50mm of the general focal length of cinema lenses for the EF-M bayonet. To be precise, the equivalent is 51.2mm but a few millimetres here and there at that length doesn't make much difference. A fast aperture is good for controlling depth of field, or if there is less than enough light. The lens has a smooth continuous AF implemented with stepping motors, and a seven-blade rounded iris. The lens is deceptively lightweight and fits in your pocket. Its shortest focusing distance is just 23cm and the powerful f/1.4 aperture makes this a good tool for even the most obscure conditions.

This is a so-called general lens that is also suitable for video work because of its focus. A single aspherical lens element gives high resolution and high contrast. Super spectra coating reduces flare and haze. The lens has an angle of view of 46°10′.
