SpyderX Photo Kit is a useful toolkit for calibrating your computer monitor and camera colours. It allows the photographer/editor to get the most out of their output, in practice the best possible colours. Capture Pro Kit includes SpyderX Elite, Spyder Lenscal, Spyder Cube and Spyder Checkr 24. Of course, a metal carrying case for the equipment is also included.

Spyder X elite

SpyderX elite is the fastest, most accurate, most precise, easiest to use and what have you. When you need absolute accurate colour calibration for your monitor, laptop or projector this is your tool. Of course, of course, the best possible results are obtained with the best monitors, like the Eizo. But on the flip side of the card, generally cheaper monitors tend to come from the factory in pretty crappy colours, so the benefit can be even greater than with an expensive monitor.

SpyderX elite is Datacolor's sixth revision and after years of development, the product has been refined to the highest level. Designed for professional video and photo shooters, you can be confident that your calibration will be smooth and accurate and your footage will match the desired result.

Spyder Cube

SpyderCube is a compact and sweet grey card for the fashion-conscious photographer. The product is not just a product design delight, it's actually a really versatile and cleverly made calibration tool. By taking the image where the Spydercube is included you get all the essential colour information from the image and can easily adjust the exact colours in post-processing. The product is easy to use and carries neatly in your camera bag. The product consists of five parts:

1. The chrome ball allows you to determine the hotspot (where the white burns out)
2. On the white side you can specify the relationship of the highlight to the hotspot
3. On the grey side, you can adjust the white balance and mid-range exposure
4. In the black area you can adjust the shadow areas
5. Remmi is 100% black

Spyder Checkr 24

Spyder Checkr 24:always gives you the right white balance and consistent colour gamut, even when using different brands of camera. With the included software, you can create a profile for Photoshop, Lightroom or Hasselblad's Phocus software.

The table contains 24 sRGB targettes of different colours that can be used to measure the “cast” of the camera colours and neutralise it with a profile. The White Balance tool allows you to set the exact white balance and exposure directly on the camera, in any situation.

Spyder Lenscal

SpyderLenscal is a compact lens calibration tool for mirrorless system cameras with fine focus adjustment. Such cameras include all D7000 and better and newer bodies for Nikon and 70D and better and newer bodies for Canon.

The calibration device is placed on a tripod and an image is taken of the target, the tape measure tells you directly how much to adjust the autofocus and in which direction. You can make adjustments quickly at home and cheaply, in the past these calibrations were done by professional service centres and the price was quite high.
