Air 2 offers the features of a flagship headset in the mid-range price category. The DJI Mavic Air 2 is a compact helicopter with folding wings, and a premium camera. The 3-axis gimbal with 1/2″ CMOS sensor is capable of 8K hyperlapse, 4K60 video, and up to 240 frame slow motion in FullHD video. The sensor is made by Sony, slightly smaller than the Mavic 2 Pro, but larger than the Zoom. All images, panoramas and video can be shot in HDR (High Dynamic Range) mode, offering better dynamic range to the image than even the Mavic 2 Pro. The Air 2 has 8GB of internal memory, and supports MicroSDXC cards up to 256GB.

Active Tracking and APAS 3.0, familiar from the Mavic 2 Pro, have now made their way to the Air 2. This allows you to track your target in more challenging environments. The system recognises obstacles and people and knows how to avoid them. The RTH (Return to home) feature allows you to safely return the helicopter to its starting point.

With a large battery, you can fly for up to 34 minutes at a time. The helicopter can reach a maximum speed of 68km/h and the pilot has a range of about 10 kilometres. The DJI Mavic Air 2 also supports Ocusync 2.0 technology, so you can connect it to the For DJI Smart Controller.
