3-AXIS HAND-HELD STABILISATION SYSTEM
The DJI Ronin MX has been developed for professional filmmakers. Made from high-quality materials, the Ronin ensures that even the most demanding requirements are met!
Customised high-speed processors, highly accurate sensors and advanced algorithms, combined with the carefully designed solutions in the Ronin, offer an incredibly wide range of options for adjusting the camera angle.
Ronin represents the cutting edge of technology in its field, giving you a stabilisation system that delivers unprecedented image and video stabilisation.
CARRY BAG
The Ronin comes with a durable, waterproof carry case fitted with wheels, making it easy to transport the kit. Inside the carry case, there are foam-lined compartments for all the Ronin’s components.
THREE DIFFERENT PHOTOGRAPHY MODES
Three different operating modes make the Ronin easy to use in a variety of situations. You can access all modes without changing the settings via the Ronin Assistant app or another operator’s controller. The Smooth Track feature works in all modes.
UPRIGHT shooting mode
Turn the gimbal round and easily bring the camera closer to eye level. This shooting mode works brilliantly when, for example, you’re holding the Ronin outdoors through a car’s sunroof or trying to film over a crowd of people.
UNDERSLUNG shooting mode
This shooting mode is the default mode on the DJI Ronin MX. You can hold the camera comfortably close to the ground, at chest height, or anywhere in between. This shooting mode is also used when the Ronin is mounted on a jib or crane.
BRIEFCASE shooting mode
When you need to walk through a doorway or along narrow corridors whilst filming, this shooting mode is the right choice. The BRIEFCASE mode allows you to hold the camera at your side, next to your feet, just like a suitcase.
TOOL-FREE ADJUSTMENT
Thanks to the built-in balancing system, you don’t need any tools to install it or make adjustments. Changing the camera and configuring new settings is quick and easy.
EASY 5-MINUTE INSTALLATION
Once your camera settings are ready, you can get the Ronin ready to shoot in as little as 5 minutes. The built-in ATS (Auto Tune Stability) technology adjusts the Ronin to suit your camera at the touch of a button!
COMPATIBLE WITH A WIDE RANGE OF CAMERAS AND LENSES
The Ronin is not designed for a specific camera; instead, it is compatible with almost all cameras, ranging from small, lightweight cameras right through to heavier production cameras.
BASED ON ZENMUSE TECHNOLOGY
DJI’s ZenMuse gimbals were among the first commercially available stabilisation systems to utilise brushless motors designed for professional use. ZenMuse has long been the benchmark against which other manufacturers’ stabilisers are measured. The Ronin is based on the same technology and offers a variety of control options.
SMOOTHTRACK CONTROL
SMOOTHTRACK allows the cameraman to pan the camera using their own movements, resulting in smooth and steady video footage. Thanks to this technology, the Ronin is extremely easy to use, even when operating alone.
2nd Operator Controller
If there are two Ronin controllers on set, one of them can pan the camera without affecting the other functions. The speed and operating mode of SmoothTrack can be easily adjusted using the switches on the controller.
