Fujifilm X-T30 II Black – the pocket-sized professional camera body has been revamped

The Fujifilm X-T30 II redefines the video capabilities of APS-C cameras. The compact body has everything you could want; only a few features have been left out compared to its bigger brother X-T3 features. A slick and intuitive feel is Fuji's bread and butter, and in this body it's implemented in a really small space. The new sensor and processor are borrowed directly from the X-T3. Both high-resolution stills and 4K video are handled with ease and the competent autofocus system brings fast and accurate focusing. The sensor is a 26.1 megapixel APS-C format X-Trans CMOS 4 type, which is the latest back-illuminated model (BSI). This technology results in better image quality across the entire sensitivity range. The sensor enables 425-point phase detect autofocus which is fast and highly accurate, even when tracking a subject. Imaging and focusing are accompanied by an X-Processor 4 processor that uses 4 cores for image processing and continuous shooting, 8 frames per second up to the speed of the mechanical shutter, and 30 frames per second with the electronic shutter (1.25x crop). That's pretty fast for a gadget in this price range. The video processor is capable of processing video internally at DCI/UHD 4K30 specs.

UHD and DCI 4K video

The Fujifilm X-T30 is more than just a style camera, it has a disturbing amount of video goodies. Including internal UHD 4K30 video at up to 200 Mb/s compression. Simultaneous external and internal recording is possible. DCI 4K30 and FullHD 1080p120 recording is selectable, with compression options of MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265. The speed of the quad-core X-Processor 4 processor enables fast recording speeds when recording 4K video, and this reduces the ”rolling shutter” effect when shooting moving subjects. Fujifilm X-T30 is equipped with F-Log gamma profile, which gives you a smooth image with easy colour definition. This maximises the use of dynamic range in difficult conditions and the image can be adjusted separately for highlight tone, shadow tone, colour and sharpness. When working in an F-Log environment, the camera uses an enhanced noise reduction algorithm in combination with K inter-frame noise reduction.
