The flash intensity of the Godox GS series can be adjusted with a 5-degree aperture (1/1 to 1/32, with an accuracy of 0.1 EV). Full flash reload time is less than 1 second. At minimum power, it achieves a very short flash duration of only 1/2000s (t = 0.1), allowing free shooting during a session. The flash colour temperature is 5600K, with a tolerance of ± 200K depending on the set flash energy.

The built-in System X receiver allows remote flash firing (until X Sync), flash energy adjustment and much more. In addition, the Godox GS series is equipped with a USB connector that allows the connection of XT16, FT 16 or X1 TTL system receivers.

The LCD display, which shows the lamp settings, is easy to read from a wide angle. Next to it is a handy knob for adjusting the flash output, changing the radio communication channel and lamp grouping. A row of five buttons below the LCD display provides quick access to all lamp settings and functions. The 150 W halogen pilot light can operate independently of the flash output or be connected to the flash energy.
