The Godox LT1 is a pixel light fitted with an RGB LED matrix, which fits onto the camera’s hot shoe like a cover and also acts as a power switch for the Godox lighting kit. Your own images, animations and scrolling text

The front-facing RGB pixel display comes with a built-in library of images, GIF animations and scrolling text. With the Godox Light app, you can draw your own pixel art and create your own GIF animations and text displays, which can consist of up to 10 frames.

Switch the entire lighting group on or off with a single press

In the Godox Light app, Godox lights and the LT1 are grouped together in the same view. In control mode, the LT1’s control button switches the entire group on or off at once, without needing to open the app. The connection is maintained after the app is closed and the lights are restarted, and is only lost when the Bluetooth connection is reset. Power and colour are still adjusted via the app, and the lights being controlled must have Bluetooth firmware version 66 or later.

Mounting and power supply

The cold shoe mount on the base slides onto the camera’s hot shoe, but it has no electrical contacts. Thanks to its magnetic surface, the LT1 stays attached to ferrous surfaces, and with the separately sold Godox RS-LT1 rubber strap, it can be attached to your arm or a bag. The built-in battery is charged via a USB-C port, and the device can be used whilst charging.
