The Godox PaletteLab SL200RF is a 200 W single-lamp light designed for video production, photography and studio work where colour accuracy is essential. The PaletteLab colour engine and Multispectral Coupling Technology produce light with a continuous spectrum, the tone of which can be adjusted across a wide range from warm to cool and right through to full colour. Accurate colour reproduction across different devices

The light’s colour rendering is characterised by CRI ≈98, TLCI ≈99, TM-30 RF 97 and CRI R9 99. The SSI values of 92 and 87 indicate that the light closely resembles daylight. Skin tones and red hues are reproduced naturally without the need for post-processing corrections.

A wide range of lighting modes and settings

The lighting modes are CCT, HSI, X-Y, RGBW, GEL and FX, and there are 14 preset lighting effects available. The colour temperature can be set according to the Godox, Blackbody or TM-30 curve. There are four dimming curves: linear, S-curve, exponential and logarithmic.

Direction in the studio and on location

The light is controlled via the controls on the body, the Godox Light app via Bluetooth from a distance of up to 30 metres, or via DMX/RDM control as part of a larger lighting system. The firmware is updated via the USB-A port, which also serves as a 5 V power supply.
