The JJC LH-JSM1850 is a high quality aluminium backlight protector designed for precise compatibility with the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN -lens. The hood prevents stray light from entering the lens and reduces reflections, such as lens flare and loss of contrast. The matt finish on the inner surface helps to minimise light reflections even further.

The lens hood does not cause vignetting and protects the front of the lens from knocks and impacts. The mount is made from a synthetic material that does not damage the lens mount. The cap maintains the lens and camera’s appearance, ensuring a cohesive and polished look. Its use does not prevent the use of 55 mm filters or the original front cap. A lens cap is also included for additional protection.
