The foot best known as the C stand is available in our range from Lencarta. When you need a really sturdy foot and ordinary feet are not enough, C stand is the right solution for you. A standard fixture in the film industry, legs are an essential part of a sturdy studio stand. This model comes with a fully adjustable boom arm that can be left off if required. The Century stand can be adjusted to any angle, even almost completely horizontal. The length is of course also adjustable. A second boom can be fitted as required. For storage purposes, the leg can be completely dismantled. If you don't put anything ridiculous on the foot, it's an almost eternal instrument. A legendary piece of equipment that belongs in every self-respecting studio.

Safe operating weight for Lencarta C stand foot

It is impossible to say the exact and appropriate weight for each boom. Nevertheless, on a flat and hard surface, with one foot towards the flash head when the height and position of the boom are at a minimum, the combined weight of the light and the modifier can be up to 10kg. But when the above variables are changed, the maximum weight drops.

However, with all booms you must be very careful not to cause injury and break equipment. Following these guidelines will get you off to a good start:

1. One leg should be parallel to the shaper

2. Start setting the boom in a short position and gradually lengthen it. Over tightening the boom is not safe and will shorten the life of the boom.
