The 105 mm AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor f/2.8G IF-ED incorporates a range of Nikon’s advanced optical features and technologies, such as a nano-crystal coating, an ED (Extra Low Dispersion) elements and internal focusing (IF). The 105 mm AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor f/2.8G IF-ED lens is designed for use with both Nikon digital SLR cameras and full-frame SLR cameras. The innovative VR II (Vibration Reduction) image stabilisation system reduces blurring caused by camera shake, making the 105 mm AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor f/2.8G IF-ED lens ideal for low-light photography and/or handheld shooting. VR II is equivalent to using a shutter speed four stops faster than normal, making handheld photography possible in low light, at dusk and even in poorly lit indoor settings.
