A stable, full-frame image

The 24.5-megapixel full-frame BSI-CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 processor provide a high-quality foundation for both photography and video. The body’s 5-axis image stabiliser offers 7.5 stops of compensation, which helps when shooting handheld, even in low light.

Smart focus and fast-moving moments

The camera features AI-powered autofocus that recognises a range of subject types, such as people, animals, vehicles, birds and underwater subjects. Continuous shooting reaches 11 frames per second in RAW/JPG mode, whilst C30 mode captures JPG images at 30 frames per second with pre-shooting.

Video tools for content creation

The Z5 IIC records 4K 30P video across the entire sensor area and 4K 60P video with a cropped sensor area. The camera also supports 12-bit N-RAW video recorded directly to the memory card, as well as 10-bit and N-Log recording modes, allowing for flexible post-production editing.
