NiSi Filter Allure Streak Blue 2mm 67mm

The Streak filter is designed to be used perpendicular to a point source of light such as the sun, an incandescent lamp or a candle. Together with this filter, they create the impression of a scene or image recorded with an anamorphic lens. This can result in symmetrical, horizontal lines extending from each point source of light, designed to draw attention to a particular part of the frame or to create a visually dramatic effect.

Many filmmakers and photographers find this effect desirable, and the NiSi Allure Streak filter is designed to enable such highlighting effects without the need for anamorphic lenses. The filter lines are spaced 2mm apart. This filter is most effective in images where the light source is a significant contrast to the final image.
