The sensor and processor both support DCI (4096 x 2160) and UHD (3840 x 2160) 4K video. When working with DCI, true 24 fps is at your fingertips, as well as IPB compression at 237 Mb/s data rate. UHD 4K frame rate is 29.97fps and 102 Mb/s. Full HD 1080p and HD720p support is also available where required. Audio can be recorded with an internal mic, and an external mic connection allows for higher quality external recorders. You can also use an external video recorder via HDMI: a connection that supports 4:2:2 8-bit colour gamut.

Olympus M.zuiko Digital 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO - A basic lens without compromise
