Profoto Air Remote TTL – the crowning glory of the flash system

Maximise the potential of your AirTTL-compatible equipment with the Profoto Air Remote TTL transmitter. This powerful remote control offers an excellent range of features, including support for wireless power control and TTL functions, not to mention high-speed sync (HSS) photography. The transmitter operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency, and the device can trigger a flash from up to 300 metres away and use TTL from up to 100 metres away (the length of a football pitch). TTL is useful because it provides automatic shooting and exposure settings, as well as bringing advanced features such as HSS to the table, which allows your shutter speed to synchronise with the flash at speeds of up to 1/8000 of a second. Furthermore, the controller has eight channels and three groups, so nearby systems do not interfere with one another. Each group can be controlled independently, allowing for ±2 EV power adjustments in TTL mode, and nine-stop adjustment in manual mode. You can switch the modelling lights on and off remotely, making them very convenient to use in the studio. Firmware updates can be carried out easily via the mini-USB port. The unit is powered by two AAA batteries.
