The Samyang XP 14mm f/2.4 lens is aimed at the demanding landscape photographer. Its optical formula consists of a single aspherical element and a pair of HRI elements that reduce distortion and make the image sharp and bright. Ultra Multi-Coating reduces reflections and haze so contrast and colour accuracy are excellent.

The aperture is not the widest at its maximum but still quite adequate for most applications.

The physical structure is an aluminium alloy and quite durable.

The rear interface transfers exif data between the obisca and the body.
