The Sigma 40mm F1.4 DG HSM Art is Sigma's first lens designed to deliver the legendary angle of view and performance familiar from cine lenses.

The Sigma 40mm F1.4 DG HSM Art has three FLD (“F” Low Dispersion) glass elements and three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements arranged to correct for axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration from magnification. The lens is designed to be unprecedentedly sharp at maximum aperture, and this lens really shines in predominant light situations where light is scarce. With less than 1% distortion, and almost zero sagittal coma reflections, the lens is frankly in a class of its own.

The lens is ideal for potracing and many other types of photography. With enough resolution for 8k video and beautiful bokeh, you won't miss anything. You can even return a saloon card as the lens is large enough to use as a dumbbell.
