The Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens offers the image quality of a high-end prime lens, despite being a zoom lens. So once again Sigma has made history 18-35mm -lens. This lens is also designed for use with APS-C sensor cameras and offers a focal length range of 80-160mm. This means that the lens effectively houses several fixed focal length lenses, such as 85mm f/1.8, 105mm f/1.8 and 135mm f/1.8. This lens could be a good choice for potretta, event and sports photographers in particular. Admittedly it is a rather heavy and bulky lens, but if you are looking for top image quality you have to accept it.

The lens has a super fast, unprecedented full zoom range thanks to the f/1.8 aperture. An improved Hyper Sonic Focusing Motor (HSM) enables fast and quiet autofocusing. Three premium FLD and one SLD glass elements produce incredibly sharp images.

The lens is of course also compatible Sigma USB dock which allows you to update the firmware or fine-tune the features of the lens.
