This lens offers a very practical zoom range from wide-angle to medium telephoto (28-85 mm), significantly reducing the weight of filmmakers' shooting equipment. It covers full-frame and large format sensors, making it compatible with many major film camera systems. Focus remains constant throughout the zoom range, so story consistency and appeal are maintained. The image is sharp, but not too sharp, creating a soft vintage look. The lens has an aperture range of T3.2 to T22, allowing precise exposure control. The Sirui Jupiter series is available as a native PL/EF mount, compatible with most professional film cameras on the market. E-mount and RF-mount are offered with additional attachments for use with a wider range of popular full-frame mirrorless cameras.
