The Sirui Sniper series is Sirui's first autofocus lens series. Designed for APS-C and Super35 cameras, the lenses offer an ultra-fast f/1.2 aperture and beautifully smooth bokeh. Each lens in the series produces sharp images, neatly separating the subject from the background. Despite their large aperture, the lenses have a nice compact size, making them easy to handle in both still and video photography. The lenses use the STM autofocus motor, which is fast and accurate even when focusing on moving subjects.

The optical structure of the lens contains 12 lens elements in 11 groups. Of these, 4 are high power glass elements and one is an ED lens. The 11-blade aperture contributes to the lens' smooth, pleasing bokeh.

The 33mm focal length is equivalent to a 50mm focal length compared to a full-frame lens and is ideal for street or portrait photography. All lenses in the Sniper series have a 58mm filter thread, so filters of the same size are easily interchangeable between lenses in the series. What's more, each lens in the series is almost the same weight, so in gimbal use there is no need to rebalance when changing lenses.
