Sirui T-2005SK + G-20KX

The Sirui T-2005SK + G-20KX continues where the previous version left off. From the test winner (dpreview) has been developed even better. More rounded shapes and shape changes, important for the stability of the structure, have further increased the good load-bearing capacity. The compact and easily manoeuvrable design is perfect for the photographer who needs a tripod that is both lightweight and small and can be carried with you at all times. The new magnesium feet and ergonomic S-level foot design make the tripod lighter, more supportive and better vibration absorbing.

The TS series comes standard with a monopod in the form of a removable leg. A short central column is included with the foot, allowing you to shoot close to the ground. Foot angle adjustment is critical for a good user experience. The new large size of the controller makes it easy to use. The mid-foot spider is equipped with a 1/4″ threaded screwdriver, making it easy to attach accessories. There's a hook on the bottom of the center column to hang a backpack for extra weight, or to hang the leg itself when carrying.

By turning the leg lock 1/3 of a turn, you can quickly adjust the height of the legs. The foot lock can be removed for cleaning and maintenance.

It comes with a handy carrying bag, and warm pads on the feet for a better grip. Cold feet are awful to touch, and it's certainly not a good idea to put your tongue on them.

The base has rubber feet, but with steel spikes inside.

For video use, the T-2005SK easily converts to a monopod when you remove the legs and attach the included bracket, and when it's time to change scenery, the Sirui T-2005SK + G-20KX folds up to just 42 centimetres long.
