Description
SmallRig 3357 Universal LWS Baseplate with Dual 15mm Rod Clamp
The SmallRig 3357 base plate is not just any base plate, it also includes a 15 mm LWS rod holder. The base plate has several mounting threads for attaching the base plate to a variety of brackets and rigs. The mounting locations include a 15 mm LWS support rod and 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting threads.
The sturdy base plate includes a rubber pad on top of the plate to prevent twisting and scratching. It is designed to position the camera at an optimal height of 8.4 cm when used with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro camera frame (model 3270). The base is also designed in such a way that it is possible to replace the Samsung T5 SSD without having to remove the base plate when using the 3270 cage.
The double 15 mm LWS rod holder attaches separately available rods to the camera rig with thumb locks. It allows optional accessories such as a lens support or focus motor to be attached to the rig.
