The SmallRig 3421 camera cage kit adds protection and allows you to mount a variety of accessories on your Sony A7S III to the camera. The kit includes a full-size aluminium camera cage, side handle, top handle, HDMI cable support, monitor mount and quick-release mounting rail.

Cage

The Smallrig 2999 cage is designed for Sony's A7sIII video model. The cage allows you to use all controls as well as the original hotshoe and offers versatile mounting points for accessories such as microphones and external displays. In addition to the accessory shoe and 1/4″ -20 and 3/8″-16 threaded hole mounting points, the cage also features several ARRI style mounting points. The anti-twist design of the cage with M2.5 screw prevents the camera from twisting in the cage.

For example, you can attach the SmallRig Handle 2165 or SmallRig Ball Head Magic Arm 2115 to ARRI type attachment points. The left edge of the cage is pre-fitted to the NATO rail. A lens adapter 2219 or 1764 can be attached to the front attachment points. The cage even has slots for straps. There is an included tool for attachments on the bottom.

Side handle

The SmallRig Wooden Universal Side Handle 2093 is designed with camera operators' ergonomics in mind. It locks with two thumbscrews and fits any cage with two 1/4″ threaded holes on the side between 18mm. The built-in Allen wrench makes adjustment and attachment easy. Height adjustment is easy to adjust to suit your needs. The handle has an equipment shoe at the top, it allows you to attach a microphone and light.

Top handle

The SmallRig Rotating Nato Handle 2362 makes it easier to carry the camera rig and to use low angles. The handle rotates 360 degrees and attaches to any cage with a Nato rail on either the top or side. The handle has several 1/4″ -20 and Arri 3/8″-16 threaded slots for attaching accessories.

HDMI support

HDMI clamp compatible with Smallrig 2999 Sony A7S III cage. Holds the cable in place and extends the life of both the port and the cable.

Monitor mounts

SmallRig Swivel and Tilt Adjustable Monitor Mount Cold Shoe-Mount 2905, monitor mount with a maximum load of 1.5 kg.

The monitor can be locked in place with a handle. The design is very compact and can support up to 1.5kg. The angle adjustment allows the monitor to be rotated up to 180°, making it easy to turn the monitor into a storage position. Attachment is by means of a hardware hook. The rubber padding on the top protects the monitor from scratches and other damage.

Quick link rail

SmallRig Quick Release Safety Rail (46mm) 1409 is a 46mm standard quick release rail. A spring-loaded safety mechanism at both ends prevents equipment from being accidentally dropped. Compatible with SlideMount, RED Epic,/Scarlet, Black Magic Camera and numerous NATO compatible accessories.
