With the M-mount filter adapter, the 52mm VND filter consists of two CPL filters that stack and rotate to reduce the amount of light and thus balance the exposure time. Its inner polarizer is magnetically attached to the ring of the SmallRig filter adapter by a lower positioning ring, while the outer polarizer can be rotated by an aluminium alloy ring in increments of 1-5 stops to reduce the amount of light.

Made from German Schott B270i HD glass, the filter features waterproof, stain-resistant, mildew-resistant and scratch-resistant AR coatings with fewer colour defects and a CNC-machined ultra-thin frame. A large-diameter filter prevents vignetting even when shooting with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

It can be magnetically and securely attached to the SmallRig magnetic filter ring adapter with a bottom anti-bend design and rotated between ND2 & ND32 hard stops for precise control of the image.
