Here's a monitorimount for you who are looking for a partner for your HawkLock frame. Here's everything you need. You can slip your monitor into place in a compatible cage or top handle without any spacers, and if this is your first HawkLock mount, then yes this will work for other cages.
For the external frames of the ecosystem, the mounting plate is held in place with two screws, and a magnetic pin prevents overzealous ratcheting. This works particularly well with slightly heavier monitors/recorders (Ninja, Shogun, etc.), as the mounting is rigid and reliable.
Special mention for the knob that controls the tightness of the tilting axle. Now you don't have to worry about using too much force to find the right angle, knowing you can control it with one knob. HOWEVER, there is a weakness: on some Feelworld monitors, the knob and mount design obscures the headphone output. So be careful if there's important infra on the right side of your monitor's mounting point.
Overall, the mount is very high quality and well designed, and this is what I use all the time. If I saw a shooting dream, this would probably be in it too.
However, one star has to be dropped, as perfection would require the possibility to change the tilting axle coupling and a slightly narrower design. If you are a Ninja enthusiast, interpret the review as 5/5.
