SmallRig 4824 HawkLock Quick Release Cage for Panasonic Lumix GH7 / GH6
It locks to the camera with one 1/4″-20 screw and two M2.5 screws on both sides.
Built-in all-round protective spacers prevent scratching of the camera.
The cage allows access to connections, switches, buttons or the battery hatch.
1/4″-20 threads, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes and HawkLock cold shoe mounts support the SmallRig top handle 3765, side handle 2093, monitor clamp 2903, microphones, LED lights, monitors, etc.
The QD interface on the base supports the SmallRig QD sleeve.
The HawkLock Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom is compatible with the DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro.
Strap holes on the sides and bottom of the cage allow for accessories such as a hand strap. 2456 fixing.
In addition, the cage has a built-in magnetic key for easy unpacking and assembly.

There is one particular feature that makes this cage a draw for my own use. This attaches to the camera, in addition to the screw at the bottom, from both mounting points on the carrier. The result is a strong mount that you can build a heavier rig on. I used to own the Black Mamba version, but it had one less mounting point and was thinner in construction. The end result was that I got it bent. This cage is much easier to trust.
