The SmallRig 5196 is a mount for external SSDs designed for camera rigs and mobile filming. It secures a portable SSD to a camera cage, an L-bracket or a MagSafe-compatible iPhone.

Main features

• Holds a portable SSD drive 40–60 mm wide and 8–17 mm thick
• Suitable for camera cages and L-shaped mounting plates with 1/4″-20 threaded holes
• Can be fitted to the cold shoe mount using the cold shoe adapter supplied
• MagSafe attachment for iPhone 12–16 models
• Compatible SSD models include, amongst others, the Samsung T5, T7 and T9, the SanDisk E30/E61/E81, the Crucial X9/X10 PRO and WD models
• Includes a USB-C cable clip for cable management
