The SmallRig Touch and Go Quick Release Kit 2128 consists of two parts, a bracket part and a quick release plate. The quick release plate is compatible with Mini Euro Camera Plate systems such as the Sachtler 16, O'Connor 80mm and Ronford Baker RBQ 80mm. This is the TV industry standard quick release plate also known as the Touch and Go plate. Attach the plate to the tripod hole in the camera, drop the assembly into the base and the system is locked in place. You can still turn the locking lever on the set for a tighter lock. The new locking mechanism is nifty for quick one-handed operation. Several 1/4″-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes in the base are handy for tripod mounting. The entire set weighs 330 grams.
