Sony FE 35mm f/1.8 - Expected glass

As the good old Sony 35mm f/1.4 ZA is getting old in terms of both design and performance, Sony has been eagerly awaiting a replacement, preferably smaller in size but still more powerful than the semi-permanent f/2.8 glass. Here it is, and it comfortably meets all expectations. It's compact enough and let's face it f/1.8 is enough for almost anything, the f/1.4 depth of field advantage is very nominal and considering the size, not worth the effort.
