The Sony FE 8–14mm F3.5 Fisheye G is a fisheye zoom lens for the Sony FE mount, designed for specialist situations where an exceptionally wide angle of view is required. It is suitable for astrophotography, VR content production, landscapes, interiors, and close-up video and still photography.

Two fisheye effects in the same lens

At the 8 mm setting, the lens produces a circular, black-edged fisheye image. At 14 mm, it functions as a diagonal fisheye covering the entire full-frame image area, and the design is also suitable for ‘open gate’ video recording.

Fast focusing for video too

Two linear motors ensure fast autofocus, and the minimum focusing distance is just 15 cm at the wide-angle end. The ‘focus breathing’ effect has been minimised in the lens design, and the lens is also compatible with the ‘breathing compensation’ function on Sony cameras.

Weatherproof construction and a wide range of manual adjustments

The lens features zoom, focus and aperture control rings, as well as a programmable AF Lock button. The fluorine coating on the front element repels dirt and moisture, whilst the weather- and dust-sealed construction helps in challenging shooting conditions.
