The extreme joy of photography and fantastic perspectives are associated with this lens. This ultra-wide angle is based on the concept of the famous Tamron 11-18mm F4.5-5.6 lens. It belongs to Tamron's Super performance ( SP) category, characterised by ultra-high optical and mechanical quality.

The lens has a very wide angle of view, equivalent to 16-37mm at full size. The 24cm close focusing distance allows you to get very close to your subject, giving you full creative control. Tamron Di technology delivers high precision and makes the most of the most common image defects. Special emphasis is placed on the BBAR coating, which is also on the interconnected lens surfaces (Internal Surface Coating) to ensure sharp and clear images. Other materials such as LD ( Low Dispersion) glass and aspherical lenses help to correct image defects. Get better images with this convincing masterpiece of optical engineering. Please note that Di II is made for use only with digital SLR cameras with an image sensor smaller than 24mm x 16mm. Di II lenses cannot be used with full-size or 35mm SLR cameras, as the image circle does not cover the full-size sensor, resulting in darkening of the edges of the image (i.e. vignetting is clearly noticeable).
