Battery flashes
Battery flashes are similar to normal photography lights, but they work with batteries, instead of direct mains power. So they can easily be used anywhere, and you don't have to worry about finding a power outlet or carrying long extension cords. The downside of battery-powered flashes is that they make them slightly larger and heavier.
