Continuous light has many advantages over traditional flash photography, the most important being that you can immediately see from the camera what the image will look like. You can also shoot with wide apertures and use, for example, a burst fire, because the lights don't need to cycle power. With continuous lighting, the subject's pupils are also smaller, creating a more pleasing look for the subject.

The kit comes with everything you need to start shooting, and works well for styling, glamour and video photography. The products are mains powered, so use is mainly limited to indoors though. The package comes with 8 high CRI 5400K lamps, 2 soft-lighting tents, tripods and a carrying case. Both lights use 4 bulbs, and the wattage can be adjusted to 50% or 100%.

The tents, or softboxes, are relatively large at 70 x 50cm, helping to create a soft and natural light. The tents are made of high quality and durable material. The inside is lined with a glossy material to increase light output, and the front has a beautifully softening translucent white fabric. The boxes and light units attach to sturdy legs that can be adjusted from 83 to 190cm in height. The stands weigh just one kilo each and are easy to move around your studio.
