The Canon EOS R8 Mark II is a compact full-frame mirrorless camera designed for travel, events and demanding amateur photography. The kit’s RF 24–105mm F4–7.1 IS STM lens covers a versatile general-purpose focal length range, so you can start shooting straight away with just this body and lens combination.

Speed in the decisive moments

Silent continuous shooting at 40 frames per second helps you capture fast-moving scenes without the sound of the shutter. Pre-Continuous Shoot captures 20 frames even before the shutter button is pressed, making it easier to capture even the briefest moments.

The focus tracks people, animals and vehicles

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus utilises deep learning technology and recognises, amongst other things, people, dogs, cats, birds, horses and vehicles. With the Register People Priority function, you can register people in the camera, which the camera will then prioritise, for example when photographing events.

Versatile for video recording too

The EOS R8 Mark II records 4K UHD 60P video without cropping, downsampled from a 6K image. Features include 10-bit recording, Canon Log 3, False Colour, a waveform monitor, and microphone and headphone sockets.
