The joystick-style tripod head is designed for shooting situations where the camera’s direction needs to be changed quickly. The ball head can be released with a single movement of the squeeze grip, and locks into place when removed.

Quick adjustment with one hand

Squeezing the handle releases the ball, allowing the camera to be rotated 360° on the horizontal axis and 90° on the vertical axis. The thumb wheel located beneath the handle allows you to adjust the tension to suit your shooting needs.

RC2 quick-release mount for a camera

The RC2 quick-release system and the 200PL-14 quick-release plate speed up the process of attaching and detaching the camera. The quick-release lock features a safety pin, and the rubberised surface of the quick-release plate helps to keep the camera securely in place.

Suitable for both right- and left-handed use

The handle is supplied configured for right-handed use, but it can be converted for left-handed use using the hex key provided. The tripod head is compatible with Manfrotto tripods and those from other manufacturers that feature a 3/8"-16 mounting on the tripod head.
