NiSi 9mm F2.8 – Canon RF

The NiSi 9mm F2.8 offers ultra-wide-angle images from the centre to the edges with minimal distortion and stunning detail, yet in a compact size. Sunbursts are beautiful from full aperture. The lens is ideal for landscape and architectural photography thanks to its low distortion. The lightweight and compact lens fits perfectly on the barrel of mirrorless cameras and also works well in video with gimbals. The 9mm wide-angle image without distortion offers an unprecedented perspective of up to 113 degrees for many systems, commonly only available on full cell cameras.

The optical structure consists of 14 elements in 12 groups. These produce a sharp and contrasting image with rich colours, from edge to edge. The elements have a NiSin SA+ coating that increases light transmission and reduces false reflections.

For weather conditions, the obiscus has a nice orange rubber ring around the bayonet. In addition to the metallic construction, the ”click-free” aperture ring is worthy of note.
