The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R 2803 is a moulded cage that provides protection around the camera and a variety of mounting options. The cage attaches to the camera through a 1/4"-20 threaded hole in the base. The base is designed to prevent it from turning and also has a rubber base to prevent turning and scratching of the camera. It also has a cold shoe at the top for attaching the mic. The base is Arca Swiss compatible, allowing you to quickly attach the rig to an Arca compatible tripod head. A separately purchased cable clamp 1822 can be attached to hold the cables firmly in place. The SmallRig 2969 lens support allows you to relieve pressure from the bayonet. There are ARRI control fairings on the top and both sides. They allow you to conveniently attach the SmallRig ARRI Locating Handle 2165 and SmallRigBall Head Magic Arm 2115. The cage does not block access to the gates.
