The successor to the legendary Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD wide-angle lens, the updated Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 features an improved image stabilizer, faster autofocus and even better image quality. The older version already had excellent image quality and this updated Tamron delivers even better results, especially in backlighting thanks to the new AX coatings. The coatings also ensure that there is little chromatic aberration or unwanted reflections.

This is the first time Tamron has used a double sensor in a lens. One for image stabilisation and the other for autofocus. These make the lens even smoother and more reliable to use and more reliable to operate.
