Video cameras
As the name suggests, video cameras are best suited to video photography. Video cameras are available for both home and professional use. Demand has led to a dramatic increase in technology in recent times. Even cheaper camcorders can already produce amazingly high quality footage. The physical size of a camcorder also varies significantly, so if you travel a lot with your camera, you should choose a lighter and smaller model.
Image quality is an important feature when choosing a video camera. Want to shoot your video 4k -quality or will a more traditional FullHD be enough for your needs? 4k quality has recently become more common in more affordable cameras. However, if you need a more professional looking camera, 4k adds a lot to the price. Maximum FPS i.e. the refresh rate also varies depending on the model. If you need the ability to shoot stylish slow-motion videos, it is important that the refresh rate is at least 60fps or 120fps. Normally 24, 25, or 30 frames per second is quite sufficient.
Video cameras have either a fixed lens or a separate lens. Professional camcorders in particular may have an interchangeable lens. Otherwise, the lens is fixed in the camera. Fixed lenses often have a long zoom range, making it easier to shoot in a variety of situations. Such camcorders often also have an excellent image stabilizer. When shooting hand-held, this reduces image shake.
All types of video cameras are available accessories. Memory card is an essential accessory for a video camera. A separate microphone is a highly recommended accessory for better sound quality. Other accessories are useful and help to keep the device intact.
