The Insta360 GPS Preview Remote with Built-In Mic is a remote control for managing recording, previewing footage and recording audio on Insta360 cameras. It is suited for situations where the camera is mounted out of arm's reach, such as on a wrist, handlebars or a selfie stick, and you want to control the recording from a distance.

Control, preview and quick start

Using the LCD touchscreen, you can adjust shooting settings remotely and preview the live feed. The camera can be woken from up to 160 metres away, and the wrist-worn remote can start recording with two twists of the wrist.

GPS data and audio into the same workflow

The remote control gathers real-time data, such as speed, route and location, which can be added to videos in the Insta360 app or Studio. The built-in microphone supports audio transmission up to 525 feet away and offers two adjustable noise reduction modes.
