JJC EW-88E Canon lens hood

The JJC EW-88E lens hood is specifically designed for the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and replaces the original Canon EW-88E lens hood. It prevents unwanted side light from entering the lens by extending and shading the lens barrel, reducing lens flare and colour damage. The lens hood is perfectly shaped for the focal length of the lens in question.

The inner surface of the lens hood has a matt finish that further prevents or reduces reflections. The use of the shield does not cause vignetting and its extended head provides additional protection against damage and bumps.

The lens hood is designed to be reversible, allowing it to be stored compactly on top of the lens for easy transport and storage. It does not prevent the use of 82 mm filters or the original Canon lens cap.
