Sirui Traveler 5C carbon fibre tripod
The Sirui Traveler 5C is a carbon-fibre tripod with a ball head, designed for travel use. It is ideal for landscape, low-angle and macro photography when you need a full-size tripod that packs down to a compact size.
Structure for easy transport
The legs swivel 180° upwards, allowing the tripod to fold down to a transport length of 315 mm. The four-section legs and twist locks speed up set-up at the shooting location.
Low-angle photography and the use of a monopod
The adjustable centre column allows you to shoot from a minimum height of 160 mm, which is useful for macro photography, for example. One of the legs can be detached to form a monopod for situations where a single leg is required instead of a tripod.
Ball head and accessory mount
The ball head features 360° panning for panoramic photography and an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release system. Additional accessories can be attached to the central spider’s 1/4″-20 threaded hole.

The Sirui Traveler 5C is a travel stand, as the name suggests. Travel stands always compromise a little on sturdiness, and so does the Sirui 5C, but what it compromises on sturdiness, it makes up for with its small size and very light weight. Thanks to its carbon fibre construction, the tripod weighs less than 1kg, making it very light even for a travel tripod. There is a hook underneath the stand, where you can add weight for extra stability. The tripod has comfortable, reversible twist locks on the legs and a fused centre tube that can be slightly extended. The downside of the stand is the ball head, which doesn't have a separate pan control. This makes the ball head unnecessary for panoramic photography and also makes it difficult to handle the ball head in general.
