Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8

Short Sonnar-type telephoto lens with 11 lens elements in 8 groups. Several different special glasses have been used as elements to provide the best possible image quality. Thanks to its luminosity and image quality, the lens is particularly well suited for shooting potraits and weddings. The lens also features an optical image stabilizer, which helps when shooting handheld in low light conditions.

Structure

Despite the fast and highly accurate autofocus, the lens also features a high-quality manual focus, making it easy for the photographer to choose the focus mode that best suits the subject. The sleek modern design is familiar from the Otus range of lenses. An OLED display on the top of the lens shows the distance to the subject (from the focal plane) and the depth of field at the selected aperture. The lens is also weatherproof.
