Shogun is the most advanced filmmaking technology, capable of capturing visual content in ProRes RAW format up to 6K 30P. It offers a comprehensive range of codecs including ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD and H.265 (HEVC). Shogun's features are split into two parts: local and cloud-based. When used traditionally, Shogun offers incredible HDR display, the latest monitoring tools, and HDMI and 12G SDI interfaces. When you enable Shogun's wireless and network-based features, you get access to powerful Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet connectivity and innovative AirGlu sync technology. You'll also get access to new and productive cloud workflows, such as the Camera Cloud solution and Atomos Edit tool.

Shogun runs on the new AtomOS 11 operating system, which hosts new and exclusive monitoring and storage features. These features bring creativity to life in every project, whether it's film or social media content. RecordAssist and PlayBackAssist support pre-scheduled or remote shooting, while enhanced false colour tools such as Arri False Color or EL Zone meet the needs of today's creators.

Shogun opens up powerful cloud functionality, including dual recording from ProRes/H.265 camera to the cloud and 4K H.265 for instant publishing from the cloud. You can share what you see on your Atomos screen with other Atomos OS11 users, iPads, Macs and Apple TVs wirelessly anywhere in the world with full voice connectivity between devices using the included Atomos RemoteView* feature.

Shogun's versatility is unmatched, offering professional I/O options for a wide range of cameras 12G-SDI, wireless AirGlu timecode and control, and even 4K NDI. This makes it a suitable option for entry-level to mirrorless cameras, the latest compact film cameras and high-end professional cameras. Shogun supports WiFi 6, which boosts cloud video workflows and provides a more stable connection.

Atomos' close partnerships with major camera manufacturers ensure that Shogun works flawlessly with an increasing number of DSLRs, mirrorless and cinema cameras.
